Job summary

isolved is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our agile team. You will perform maintenance tasks and develop new features under guidance from senior developers, ensuring the product is functional, user-friendly, and of high quality.

You will work on UI controls, business logic, and SQL Server stored procedures, collaborating with business analysts to clarify requirements and tackle complex problems on a modern HCM platform.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of web application/services development.
• 1-3+ years of large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
• Ability to follow prescribed steps to research and solve complex problems.
• Strong skills with PHP, LINQ, SQL, Unit Testing, .NET, JavaScript, HTML.
• Knockout, Angular, Azure CosmosDB, or other NoSQL database.
• Experience with extensive (500+ database table) system development a plus.
• Eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interface controls, business logic, and SQL Server stored procedures
• Participate on the agile team to estimate and groom backlog items, plan development activities, and improve the development process
• Develop functionality using the isolved coding standards
• Work with business analysts to clarify requirements and debug problems
• Investigate third-level support requests
