Decision Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (SEG1) to support a large Naval Sea Systems Command contract. The role requires the ability to obtain an active Secret Clearance and involves software research, design, and integration with multidisciplinary teams.

The position is based at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC, with on-site work required and potential telework with customer approval as relationships evolve.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Education and experience: Bachelors' degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
• Experience: 0-3 Years experience working with software engineering

Responsibilities

• Software Engineers research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Update or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within an application area.
