Job summary

Datacor is seeking a curious, early-career Software Engineer to join our Flow Simulation team and contribute to Fathom, Arrow, Impulse, and xStream. You will work across the full stack of our Windows desktop applications, from UI to data models, with a structured onboarding plan and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software eng, or related field (or equivalent).
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one OO language, preferably C#; solid CS fundamentals.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across Windows desktop apps with guidance.
• Diagnose and fix defects in the codebase, including customer-reported issues.
• Contribute to tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and test infrastructure.
• Participate in modernization efforts and new UI frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Share responsibilities like build pipelines and bug triage rotations.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, Product, and domain experts to meet user needs.
