Job summary

Sinclair Digital is building an early-career engineering program that blends client/server/cloud work with AI-assisted development. You’ll design cloud services, work on full-stack concepts, and prototype new content delivery ideas while applying modern engineering practices.

This temporary contractor role offers exposure to AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and LLM APIs, with opportunities to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field is required.
• ~6 months of experience in application or web development (internships/co-ops count).
• Experience with modern web tech stack and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud services using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Learn full stack development across the full spectrum of software engineering.
• Design and build proof-of-concepts for new content-delivery methods, including AI-assisted features.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping and delivery with sound judgment.
• Collaborate across teams, present ideas, and iterate based on feedback.
• Follow engineering best practices while exploring new and emerging technologies.
