Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a software engineer to join our team in Maryland. You will work on next-generation technologies for national defense, tackling analytics, large-scale systems, and AI/ML tasks.

You'll contribute across the stack using Java, C#, C++, Python, and more. Expect collaboration, code reviews, testing, and deployment using Docker/Kubernetes and cloud services. Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Four years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based on requirements.
• Reviews and tests software components and documents results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Contributes to system design with hardware/software trade-offs and reuse.
• Supports development with COTS/GOTS decisions and synthesis from system level to components.
• Collaborates with teams and uses toolchains like JIRA/Confluence and GitHub.
