DCS Corporation in Dayton, Ohio seeks a Junior Software Engineer to support the Aerospace Technology Development team on autonomy and control system initiatives for air platforms. You will work on testing and evaluating software across interfaces for maneuvering, sensing, UI, and performance monitoring.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in CS/CE or related field with programming experience and familiarity with automated testing, containers, Git, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Secret DoD security clearance required.
• BS degree in CS/CE or related technical discipline with programming experience.
• Two years of related experience or master’s degree with 1 year of experience; co-ops acceptable.
• Familiarity with automated testing, test results analysis, containerized deployments, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Familiarity with AGILE software development processes.
• Understanding software architecture design.
• Experience with Git.
• Good organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work with containerized autonomy services and design software test fixtures.
• Develop interface control documents and document test results.
• Plan and execute integration tests and report outcomes for stakeholders.
• Travel may be required.
