Belcan Corporation in Frisco, TX is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to grow skills in software development and automation. The role targets candidates with 0–3 years of experience and a foundation in programming, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work with seasoned engineers on verification, validation, and automated testing, gaining hands-on exposure to Python, Linux, CI/CD, and modern tooling while contributing to high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
0–3 years of experience including internships, co-ops, military service, research, or academic projects.
Working knowledge of Python or similar programming language.
Familiarity with Linux and Git.
Understanding of software testing and debugging fundamentals.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Support verification, validation and automated testing activities.
Contribute to software quality initiatives throughout the development lifecycle.
Gain hands-on experience with Python, Linux, CI/CD, automation frameworks, and complex software systems.
Assist with HITL and SITL testing activities.
Support software release and qualification testing.
Collaborate with software, systems, and integration teams.
Participate in lab activities, demonstrations, and field testing support.
