Job summary

iLending is seeking a Junior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based software applications on-site at our Englewood office. You will work with modern stacks and gain hands-on experience across development, testing, and deployment while collaborating with an experienced team.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, learning, and growth in a supportive environment, with opportunities to mentor junior developers and contribute to the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Developer.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• 1–2 years of full stack development using React/Angular/.NET Core.
• Experience building RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with modern languages (Node.js, React, .NET, C#, TypeScript).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of security, networks, and cryptography; agile/scrum experience.

• Partner with architecture team to deliver standards-compliant solutions.
• Resolve complex business problems by applying industry best practices.
• Manage full software development lifecycle in the cloud.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Design build and maintain solutions in the cloud for the organizationPartner with architecture team in designing and delivering solutions that adhere to standards performance security and compliance
• Resolving complex business problems by analyzing and creating solutions based on industrys best practices
• Manage entire software development life cycle including planning designing developing testing and deploying applications in the cloud
• Coordinate with the IT team to ensure the applications are working properly and efficiently in the cloud environment
• Troubleshoot problems in the existing applications to identify and resolve issues
• Mentor junior developers
• Be the SME of the products the engineering organization owns
• Be available for production support and regular on call services

WHAT YOULL BRING TO THE TABLE

• 2 4 years of experience in software engineering
• 1 2 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Developer
• Experience in working with Containers with usage of orchestration platforms Kubernetes Azure Kubernetes Service
• 1 2 years of experience as a full stack developer using ReactAngular Net Core or other OOP languages
• Experience in writing RESTful APIs in microservices architecture
• Experience with at least one modern programming language including but not limited to NodeJS React Net C TypeScript
• Exposure to CICD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
• Reasonable understanding of some aspects of network stack and network protocols
• Understanding of major aspects of computer security network security application security security protocols cryptography etc
• Experience in agile methodology scrum framework
• Experience in one or more of the following Azure service categoriesApp Service including Web Apps API Apps or Logic AppsNoSQL databases Cosmos DBRelational databases database architecture and design MS SQL Server Azure SQL DB PaaS Service
