Job Description

GliaCell is seeking a Junior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position supporting a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software to fulfill requirements across various OS platforms, working with small teams.
• Focus on continuous integration and testing.

Key Requirements

• Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 0+ years of Software Engineering experience and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or 4 years of experience with no degree.
• Works well independently and in teams.
• Strong communication skills.

Key Skills

• Java, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, Angular, React, or Node.js
• Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
• Understanding of OS internals and network protocols
• Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts

Location options include Annapolis Junction, Columbia, Hanover, or Laurel, MD.

The salary range is $50,000 to $120,000, determined by experience, skills, and education. Your specific salary will be discussed during the hiring process.
