Eight Eleven Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Associate Software Engineer focused on front-end development to join a fast-paced team building modern web and mobile applications. You will work with React and TypeScript, contribute to React Native initiatives, and learn from senior engineers in a hybrid environment (three days onsite, two remote) on a contract-to-hire basis.

Compensation: $35 - $42 per hour

Associate Software Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer specialized/has interest in front-end development to join a fast-paced team focused on developing modern web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with strong JavaScript and React experience who is excited to build user-facing applications and contribute to innovative projects leveraging AI-powered development tools.

You will work closely with senior engineers and technical leaders while supporting a growing React Native initiative. Success in this role requires strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving technology environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to or experience with React Native

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar technologies
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
• Experience working in Agile development environments
