Job summary

iCatalyst, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Software Developer to join our federal program team in the McLean area. The role supports development of an advanced analytics web application using Java Spring Boot and Angular, with data work across Postgres and AWS services.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of relevant experience, a BS/BA in a STEM field or MS in STEM, and strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Hybrid/remote options are available with onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience developing Java, Typescript, and Python.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server).
• Ability to create and test REST APIs.
• Experience in AWS and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Java Spring Boot + Angular web application.
• Support data processing from relational and graph databases.
• Write clean, tested code and follow security best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking via JIRA/GitHub Actions.
