Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Junior Software Developer in Doral, FL to join our team, delivering backend services, RESTful APIs, and responsive front-end components.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in a STEM field, familiarity with Python/Java/C#/C++, HTML5/CSS3/JS, and SQL; experience with Docker/Ansible is a plus, and U.S. citizenship with interim security clearance eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM discipline. A bachelor’s degree can be substituted for four (4) or more years of relevant experience.
• Foundational experience developing in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or C++.
• Basic familiarity with front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of database fundamentals and experience writing standard SQL queries.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and cloud-hosted environments.

• Active CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to acquire within 6 months of hire).

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an interim Secret security clearance prior to starting.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
