Job summary

Acrisure Mortgage is seeking a recent graduate to join our tech team as a Junior Software Developer in Orlando, FL. This learning-focused role offers hands-on experience working with senior developers, data engineers, and product managers to build, test, and deploy software powering key business systems.

You’ll gain exposure to cloud services, modern web frameworks, and DevOps tools while growing toward a full-stack role in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with databases and basic SQL queries.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web application concepts.
• Experience with Git or other version control tools.
• Curiosity, accountability, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain new features in internal applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews and daily standups.
• Participate in design discussions and assist with technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Work with cloud services (e.g., AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Follow secure coding, version control, and testing best practices.

Position Summary
We’re seeking a Junior Developer who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow into full‑stack developer. You’ll work closely with senior developers, data engineers, and product managers to build, test, and deploy software solutions that power key business systems.This is a learning‑focused role — perfect for recent university graduates with a solid programming foundation and a desire to gain real‑world experience in modern software development.

• Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps tools (GitHub, Jira, Docker)
