Job summary

Printfresh LLC is seeking a Junior Sleepwear Designer to support a joyful, print-forward collection. You will translate concepts into production-ready CADs, colorways, embroidery, and print layouts, while reviewing samples and following through development.

This is an in-house, full-time role in our Philadelphia office, Monday–Friday. The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in sleepwear or fashion design, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of sleepwear, intimates, apparel or fashion-design experience; strong internships or relevant freelance experience may be considered.
• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant apparel-design work required.

Responsibilities

• Create and update technical flats, and construction sketches.
• Develop print minibodies, artwork mockups, and print placements.
• Assist with embroidery layouts, placement diagrams, scale, and color callouts.
• Participate in proto and sample reviews and prepare clear design comments.
• Track revisions, approvals, samples, and open development items.
• Create and maintain tech packs in partnership with Product Development and Technical Design.
• Keep seasonal files, physical working boards, line plans, and presentation decks accurate and current.
• Collaborate with Print and CAD, Product Development, Technical Design, Production, and Merchandising to keep seasonal development organized and on schedule.

Job description

The Junior Sleepwear Designer supports the sleepwear team in bringing Printfresh's joyful, print-forward collections to life. This hands-on role will help translate seasonal concepts into accurate, production-ready apparel through CADs, colorways, embroidery and print layouts, sample review, and development follow-through.

This is a strong opportunity for an early-career designer who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a creative, print-led, and size-inclusive brand.

This is a full-time, in-house position, working out of our Philadelphia office M-F.

• Portfolio demonstrating relevant apparel-design work required.
• Experience with tech packs, embroidery, PLM systems, sample commenting, or overseas development is a plus.
