Job summary

Peek 'n Peak Resort seeks Junior Instructors to support Snow Sports Instructors with classroom lessons, gearing up, and on-snow activities for Peek 'n Kids (ages 3-5) and (ages 6-12). You will help create a fun, safe learning environment and gain coaching experience in a family-friendly resort setting.

The program is designed as pre-instruction training to promote future advancement to Snow Sports Instructor, with emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Intermediate skiing or snowboarding skills required.
• Junior Instructor Program is a pre-instruction training program to become a Snow Sports Instructor.
• Able to work outdoors in winter conditions and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide information about Snow Sports programs/pricing.
• Assist instructors with lessons, gearing up, and on-snow activities for Peek 'n Kids (ages 3-5) and 6-12.
• Lead activities for younger learners and ensure safety and fun.
• Demonstrate teaching methods and differentiate instruction for varied ability levels.
• Collaborate with resort departments to ensure a memorable guest experience.
