raSmith, a multi-disciplinary civil and structural engineering and land surveying firm, seeks a Civil Engineer – Site Design in Naperville, IL for 0-2 years of experience. You will support site engineering plans, stormwater reports, and permitting, contributing to diverse projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a US-accredited college.
• EIT certification highly preferred.
• Experience in design of site-related elements for retail, commercial, industrial, or redevelopment projects.
• Able to solve basic engineering problems and make good decisions.
• Excellent communication, detail orientation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams with pre-development due diligence and site/ paving/ grading plans.
• Support calculations and preparation of stormwater management plans and reports.
• Conduct regulatory research and permitting activities.
