Job summary

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) is seeking a 2027 graduate to join our Tampa Land Development team as an Entry Level Site Civil Engineer.

You will contribute to site development, stormwater, utility design, permitting, and construction oversight across Florida. You'll work with an Engineer-of-Record, preparing plans, calculations, and specifications for diverse projects while gaining exposure to multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0+ year of experience.
• EI certification preferred, specifically in Florida.
• Some AutoCAD experience, preferably in Civil 3D.
• Experience or familiarity with stormwater and utility modeling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of professionals under an Engineer-of-Record assisting to develop site civil engineering plans, calculations, and specifications for diverse land development projects throughout Florida.
• Assist in the preparation of permitting documents.
• Preparation and/or reviewing design criteria, drawings, and specifications.
• Provide construction observation services for project certification.
