A defense training company is seeking a Junior SERE / ECAC Instructor to deliver advanced survival instruction at JBSA-Lackland. Ideal candidates are prior SERE professionals with teaching experience, ready to support high-risk training programs. Responsibilities include delivering field instruction, aiding in survival skills training, and evaluating student performance. Candidates must meet physical requirements and possess a relevant military background. The role requires travel and comes with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of USAF SV81A or approved DoD SERE Level C Course.
• Level C certificate required.
• 2+ years of instructing at SV88AL SERE course or related experience.
• 4+ years military service with minimum rank E-5.
• Honorable discharge (DD-214 required).
• Ability to meet demanding physical requirements.
• Ability to pass SERE psychological screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver field and technical SERE instruction.
• Assist with survival skills and evasion techniques.
• Instruct on maps, GPS, and signaling devices.
• Participate in resistance training activities.
• Support execution of resistance scenarios.
• Evaluate and document student performance.
