Job summary

DirectViz Solutions, LLC (DVS) is hiring a Junior Security Analyst to support 24/7 security operations in Herndon, VA. Active Secret clearance is required. The role focuses on monitoring TSA SIEM, investigating events, and documenting findings within the TSA SOC system.

On-site position with shift options; candidates should have 1–3 years SOC/NOC experience, familiarity with Windows/Linux, and strong communication skills to produce clear incident reports.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years in SOC/NOC security event monitoring.
• Experience with common OS (Windows, macOS, Linux) in enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts in 24x7x365 TSA SIEM.
• Identify and investigate suspicious activity and cyber events.
• Analyze logs from devices feeding the TSA SOC.
• Review non-traditional data feeds integrated into SIEM architecture.
• Document findings and artifacts in the TSA SOC incident tracking system.
• Record artifacts (emails, logs, URLs, screenshots) in the TSA SOC system.
