Qualifications

• Understanding of security concepts and processes.

• 1+ Years of Experience in Server or Network Administration

• Experience with SIEM and Endpoint Security Tools
• Experience with PowerShell, Group Policy, and Endpoint Management
• Knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Cloud Security
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Threat Intelligence Research: monitor feeds and identify threats.
• Threat Hunting and Detection: create and test rules with SIEM/Defender.
• Log Analysis: review firewalls, endpoints, and servers for IOCs.
• Incident Response: assist in triage and evidence gathering.
• Documentation and Reporting: produce clear incident reports and after-action reviews.
• Vulnerability Management: prioritize patching per best practices.
• Security Awareness Training: develop and deliver training materials.
• Security Automation: leverage PowerShell scripting and tooling.
