Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Junior Scrum Master to support an Intelligence Community customer in Springfield, VA. You will guide Agile teams, facilitate events, and help improve velocity while working on cloud-based projects.
Requirements include a CS-related degree, 3-5 years of experience, Jira/Confluence proficiency, and TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility. A collaborative, security-conscious environment with growth opportunities awaits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environment.
- Active TS/SCI clearance to start and must be able to obtain a CI Poly.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; JIRA and Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Guide scrum-team through all sprints and remove impediments.
- Organize and facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Track team metrics and communicate progress to teams and management.
- Assist with backlog grooming and story estimation.
- Update agile tracking systems for transparency on backlogs.
- Mentor junior scrum masters and promote best practices.
