THE ROLE
We're looking for a dedicated Junior School Classroom Assistant to join our team in our new Kindergarten Class supporting 4-5 year olds. You'll be instrumental in supporting the whole child, ensuring both their academic progress and their pastoral care and wellbeing. You will work closely with all teachers and colleagues to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where every pupil can thrive.
The Kindergarten class will provide education for up to sixteen 4-5 year olds and will be taught by a fully qualified GTCS registered teacher, as well as specialist teachers in some areas including swimming, PE, and music.
The classroom assistant will support the pupils in their learning and teachers across the curriculum as well as pupils in Y1-6 during break and lunchtimes. Experience of an Early Years setting or working with younger children is desirable but not essential.
The post will commence on Monday, 18 August 2026. Closing date for applications is Monday, 23 June. Interviews will take place shortly thereafter.
