Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a security specialist experienced with Special Access Programs (SAP) in a DoD-focused environment. You will support the implementation of security protocols, assist in SAP SOPs, and help run trainings for SAP personnel.

The role requires a Top-Secret clearance SCI, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with government customers and internal teams. On-site work is expected at the Quantico, VA area.

Qualifications

• Citizen and Top-Secret clearance SCI required.
• Background in DoD, NISPOM, ICD security requirements preferred.
• 1–3 years in security programs; SAP/SCI exposure is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining security protocols for Special Access Programs.
• Support SAP SOP development and enforcement.
• Contribute to security briefings, debriefings, and trainings for SAP personnel.
• Manage access control and visitor management for SAP facilities.
• Prepare, send, and receive visitor certifications.
• Handle classified materials in accordance with policy.
• Assist with audits and inspections for compliance.
• Inspect facilities to support physical security measures.
• Interface with government customers, program managers, and staff on SAP security issues.
• Coordinate incident response and reporting for security concerns.
• Maintain records for personnel security, visit requests, and SAP documentation.
