Job summary

Intrepid, an SPA Company, is seeking a Remote Junior SAP Business Analyst to support DoD financial processes and data integrity. The role emphasizes data cleansing, validation, and collaboration with DoD stakeholders while working in a flexible remote environment.

The candidate should have a BA/BS in accounting or finance, 1–3 years federal experience, and an active SECRET clearance. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is expected, with opportunities to learn additional tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with PO, SO, fund reservations, and FI AP/AR documents (desired).

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist J8 with clearing invalid balances and transactions from EBS to convert a supportable trial balance.
• Analyze current EBS data to identify invalid transactions and anomalies.
• Assess data quality against DoD standards and requirements.
• Develop and implement data cleansing processes to correct anomalies and standardize data.
• Validate data for accuracy and integrity through various techniques.
• Provide support to the team and complete other duties as assigned.

SPA has an immediate need for a Remote Junior SAP Business Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Providing and assisting J8 with clearing invalid balances and transactions from Provide and assist J8 with clearing invalid balances and transactions from Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) to convert a supportable trial balance.
• Assisting with analyzing current EBS data to identify invalid transactions and anomalies.
• Assessing data quality against DoD's standards and requirements.
• Assisting with developing and implementing data cleansing processes to correct anomalies, resolve invalid transactions, and standardize data.
• Assisting with validating the data for accuracy and integrity through various techniques.
• Providing support to the team as needed and completing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and between 1-3 years of relevant experience, specifically in the federal sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and the ability to learn other tools as needed.
• An active SECRET clearance is a requirement.
• Desired Qualifications: Experience with or knowledge of purchase orders, sales orders, fund reservations, purchase requisitions, and standalone FI AP/AR/disbursement/collection documents.
• Experience with or knowledge of order to cash and procure to pay experience.Ability to understand relationships of key SAP purchases, sales, inventory, and financial tables.
• Experience supporting and collaborating with DoD stakeholders, senior leadership, and DoD/Army Financial Management personnel.
