Job Description
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Junior Salesforce Developer. This position is 100% remote.
Bill Rate: $85.00/hr
U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must possess a Public Trust clearance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization (APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web components, etc.)
- Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and Email Alerts
- Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, and identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements
- Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code/configuration
- Perform independent code reviews and write unit/integration test cases to achieve 85% test coverage
- Effectively debug and resolve issues or defects reported from the production system
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator)
- Experience with Salesforce DX and version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes
- Experience with Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations
- Understanding of business processes and how Salesforce can be leveraged to improve them
