Job summary

Sectech Solutions is seeking a Junior SailPoint Engineer to join our IAM team in the Washington, DC area. You will help maintain, configure, and support our SailPoint platform to ensure secure access governance across the organization.

You will work on-site 3–4 days per week, collaborate with senior IAM engineers to onboard applications, configure identity workflows, and troubleshoot access issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' hands-on SailPoint IIQ or ISC experience.
• On-site in the Washington, D.C. metro area 3–4 days/week.
• Full U.S. working rights; no visa sponsorship.
• Solid understanding of IAM concepts and directory services.

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior SailPoint Engineer to join our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team in the Washington, D.C. area. In this role, you will help maintain, configure, and support our SailPoint platform to ensure secure access governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day administration and support of SailPoint IIQ or Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
• Help configure, test, and troubleshoot identity workflows, roles, and access certifications.
• Collaborate with senior IAM engineers to onboard applications and streamline identity lifecycle management.
• Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, and address operational tickets.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience working with SailPoint IIQ or SailPoint ISC.
• Location & Presence: Ability to work on-site 3 to 4 days per week in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
• Work Eligibility: Must hold full U.S. working rights with no current or future visa dependency.
• Skills: Solid understanding of core IAM concepts, directory services (Active Directory, LDAP), and basic scripting or Java troubleshooting skills.
