Job summary

Jst-Corporation- seeks a Junior IT Software Engineer to join a hybrid team in Guntersville, AL. You’ll split time between the production floor with the robotics team and office-based software tasks, writing C++ and Python, testing, and deploying updates for autonomous systems.

The role offers hands-on experience on AMRs, data collection, and tool development to improve manufacturing processes, with growth through mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/Robotics or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to balance factory floor troubleshooting with office development.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++ and Python.
• Test, deploy, and debug software updates.
• Set up, calibrate, and commission AMRs and robotic workstations on the factory floor.
• Monitor real-time performance and document field issues.
• Support software integration with existing factory systems.
• Execute manual and automated testing in simulation and physical environments.
• Create internal tools for data analysis and system monitoring.
