Job summary

JST CORPORATION in Guntersville, AL is seeking a Junior IT Software Engineer to join our robotics and factory automation team. The role blends hands‑on work on the production floor with office software development, offering exposure to autonomous systems and AMRs.

You will write and test C++ and Python code, help deploy updates, and build internal tools for data analysis while collaborating with senior engineers and the robotics team to drive improvements on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/Robotics or related field.
• Strong C++ and/or Python foundations.
• Experience with Linux OS.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on floor work with office development.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient code in C++ and Python.
• Test, deploy, and debug software updates.
• Assist on the production floor with AMRs and robotic workstations.
