A prominent Alaskan company seeks an experienced electrician to join their team. The role involves collaborating with rig managers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety on-site. Candidates should have extensive electrical knowledge and the ability to work in challenging environments. A journeyman certification is preferred, along with a proven track record in electrical systems. This position has no supervisory functions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Works under the direct supervision of the Driller and general supervision of the Rig Manager as a subject matter expert.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Noise, cold, heat, working at heights or on ladders, inside enclosed oil rig in an industrial environment and outside in elements.
