Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Junior Reverse Engineer to join our Cyberwarfare team. You will dissect and analyze hardware, firmware, software, and network protocols to understand behavior, identify vulnerabilities, and develop PoCs.

This role fuels our national security mission and offers opportunities to grow in a fast-paced, technically driven environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to 7 years of experience in reverse engineering, with proficiency in C/C++,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
0-7 years of demonstrated experience in reverse engineering or relevant security disciplines.
Strong understanding of computer architecture, OS, and software development principles.
Proficiency in assembly language, C/C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques.
Knowledge of network protocols and security concepts.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform full-scope reverse engineering of hardware, firmware, software, and network protocols.
Analyze system components, architectures, and interactions to gain knowledge of functionality.
Identify security vulnerabilities, potential attack vectors, and areas for improvement.
Develop custom tools and scripts to automate reverse engineering workflows.
Research and stay current on threats, vulnerabilities, and reverse engineering techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions.
Document findings, prepare reports, and present results to stakeholders.
