Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of qualitative or quantitative research experience.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative marketing research techniques, audience segmentation, personas, and journey maps.
• Comfortable speaking with a crowd, sharing work and ideas.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects daily.
• Strong writing skills with a writing sample.
• An eye for design to communicate data clearly in slide decks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication in a small team.
• The drive to learn more about the marketing industry.

Junior Researchers support research for our most important clients. They are responsible for everything from drafting research plans to recruiting participants to piloting research studies, synthesizing results, and assisting in creating simple but impactful recommendations.

They are also responsible for keeping up with industry articles, writing blog posts, and creating content that empowers them to learn and also adds value to the company.

What we’d like to see:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, Anthropology, Political Science, Psychology, or related subject area

Two or more years of qualitative or quantitative research experience

Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative marketing research techniques, audience segmentation, personas, and journey maps

Comfortable speaking with a crowd, sharing work and ideas

Strong organizational skills—you’re comfortable juggling several projects at once, and holding yourself accountable in project managment software on on daily standup calls

Strong writing skills (you will be asked to provide a writing sample)

An eye for design, as we pride ourselves on slide decks that visually communicate the story of the data in a clean, clear way

Excellent teamwork and communication skills (we’re a small team so this is a big deal!)
