Job summary

Footgear in Tyger Valley seeks a Stock Allocation & Replenishment Planner to ensure products are available in the right stores at the right time and quantities. You will support stock allocation, replenishment planning, and inventory reporting to drive sales and profitability.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, experience with Excel and merchandise planning systems, and the ability to interpret sales and inventory reports to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in supply chain, retail management, logistics, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in retail planning, allocation, replenishment, stock control, inventory management, or merchandise administration.
• Retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Allocate stock to stores based on business requirements and allocation strategies.
• Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Balance inventory across stores to maximize sales opportunities.
• Monitor and resolve stock allocation issues.
• Monitor store stock levels and replenish merchandise based on sales trends and stock parameters.
• Minimise stock-outs while avoiding overstocking.
• Review replenishment recommendations and adjust where required.
• Ensure timely replenishment of seasonal and core merchandise.
• Monitor stock availability across distribution centres and stores.
• Identify slow-moving and excess stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyse sales and inventory reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Track KPIs including stock availability, stock turn, weeks of cover, and sell-through.
• Work closely with Buyers, Merchandise Planners, and Merchandise Administration teams.
• Communicate stock shortages, delivery delays, and replenishment challenges.
