Job summary

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Junior Red Hat Linux Engineer to join the team in Quantico, VA. The role supports the design and implementation of the ACAS solution for GEN networks and maintains Linux infrastructure for network and appliance scanning.

The candidate will document designs, create network diagrams, and maintain Nessus scanners and PVS. They will develop SOPs, provide operator training, and deliver reports to IA personnel to sustain ACAS tool functionality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with Red Hat Linux and STIGs/CAS/OPORD support.
• 3+ years experience supporting, configuring, and administering Linux in an enterprise environment (RHEL 7+).
• Experience with virtualized environments (vSphere/ESXi) and networking troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install and patch operating systems and document DISA STIGs for ACAS deployments.
• Assess ACAS implementations and recommend changes across GEN networks.
• Document ACAS design steps including IP, FQDN, and location of components.
