Our client, one of New Jersey's most prestigious real estate development companies, is seeking a commercial real estate attorney to support the General Counsel and legal department.

Job Function:

• Assist in managing all phases of commercial and real estate closing transactions, ensuring a seamless process from inception to final execution.
• Draft, review, and analyze critical real estate instruments, including deeds, restrictive covenants, construction contracts, and service agreements.
• Facilitate and process lease agreements, tenant amendments, and related modifications.
• Prepare and maintain essential corporate documentation, including LLC formations, corporate resolutions, and specialized building forms.
• Evaluate legal and regulatory documents to mitigate risk and guarantee compliance across all real estate transactions.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of commercial and residential real estate experience handling closings from start to finish.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and work on-site in Newark 5 days a week.
• Familiarity with all real estate forms mentioned above, including service agreements, deeds, leases, LLCs, corporate resolutions, and covenants.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the state bar.
