Job summary

Utah State University Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking an entry-level Radar Signal Processing Engineer to develop algorithms and software for airborne ISR applications within our C4ISR Systems Division. The role involves implementing radar processing pipelines, data visualization, and collaborating to transform raw radar signals into high-quality data products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, or related field (completed within six months).
Proficiency in C++ and MATLAB.
Understanding of signal processing techniques and radar applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
U.S. citizen able to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Designs and develops tools for organizing data and reading/writing data formats.
Implements radar processing algorithms in software for processing pipelines.
Collaborates with the team to explore ideas and analyze trade-offs.
Designs and conducts software tests.
Performs radar system modeling and simulation.
