Position Summary

It is the Junior Racking Installer role – assists in the assembly and installation of pallet racking and material handling equipment. This hands‑on position requires working efficiently in a team environment to meet project goals while maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate is hardworking, coachable, and eager to develop new skills in the material handling and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Exercise and promote proper safety practices at all times.
• Assist in the installation and assembly of warehouse racking and storage systems.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding scheduling and team coordination.
• Utilize a variety of tools properly and efficiently to optimize productivity.
• Apply sound decision‑making and problem‑solving skills on the job.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve installation goals.
• This role involves a high‑volume workload with occasional shift changes and may require travel based on project locations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Prior experience in Material Handling Equipment (MHE) installation and/or construction is required.
• Knowledge of warehousing, distribution, pallet rack design, and material handling equipment is preferred.
• Ability to properly operate and utilize a variety of tools and heavy equipment.
• Safety training and/or equipment operation certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and on individual tasks.
• Willingness to learn and be coached on new skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb, kneel, and lift up to or in excess of 50 lbs. regularly.
• An optimistic, team‑oriented attitude focused on winning for our customers.
