Job summary

Saragossa in Chicago is seeking a Junior quantitative Trader to help build models and trading strategies that drive performance in live markets.

You'll work with large datasets, identify edges, automate processes, and collaborate with traders and developers to continuously improve results. Python, R, and SQL will be your tools, and solid statistics plus problem-solving will be your edge. The base salary is up to $150k plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in quantitative research, trading, data science, or a similar analytical field.
• Experience in sports, betting, prediction markets, trading, or market data is a plus but not required.
• Proficient in Python, R, and SQL; strong statistics and problem-solving skills.

They are looking for a junior person between 1 and 4 years of expeirence, but you will need to of worked in quantitative research, trading, data science, or another highly analytical environment. Experience in sports, betting, prediction markets, trading, or market data is a plus, but not essential.
