Job summary

DV Trading in Chicago is seeking a 2026 Graduate Trader to join the DV Equities desk. You will work closely with senior traders to learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems, with exposure to real-time risk management and trade entry.

The role focuses on building and refining trading models, enhancing strategies, and liaising with OTC relationships. Candidates graduating Summer 2026 with strong math and programming skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, CS, or Engineering; graduating Summer 2026
• Strong foundation in math, probability, and statistics
• Ability to learn quickly and perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior traders to learn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems
• Real-time risk management in the form of trade entry and risk layoffs
• Build, maintain, and improve trading models
• Enhance existing strategies and identify and new opportunities
• Liaise between the trading desk, internal teams, and OTC relationships
