FORTUNE PERSONNEL CONSULTANTS - Orlando Office is seeking an entry-level Quality Engineer for an automotive manufacturing site in Central Indiana. You will sit with a Senior Quality Engineer and the Quality Manager to learn the role in the plant, focusing on APQP, first-article reviews, and basic quality stats.

Recent graduates in ME/MET/IE/IET or 1–5 years in quality roles are welcome. On-site work, relocation/drive to interview required; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

Recent ME / MET / IE / IET grad with a real plant internship or co-op.
Or 1–5 years as Quality Engineer, Junior QE, Manufacturing QE, Customer QE, or Launch QE.
APQP, PPAP, quality paperwork, or basic quality stats is a plus.
You already live in or near central Indiana and are able to drive to interview.
US Citizen or Green Card only. No visas. No sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work APQP on new programs.
Review first-article parts and quality data off new assembly lines with Manufacturing Engineering.
Learn and use 8D and 5-Why when something goes wrong.
Help put quality data together for customers.
Work inside IATF 16949 — docs, audits, and day-to-day plant quality.
Help fix quality issues on current production.
