Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Job Description:

Title: Jr Quality Engineer (QE)

Duration: 6 month contract with opportunity to extend/convert

Type: 100% REMOTE (must work in PST Zone)

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar from an accredited college
• 1-3+ years of experience with API testing using Postman, ReadyAPI or REST Assured
• 1-3+ years of experience with Java background
• 1-3+ years of experience with Selenium
• Experience reviewing requirements and developing test strategies based on functional specifications.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to debug complex issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to self-learn and collaborate within groups to adapt to evolving requirements and technologies.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments, using tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
• Experience version control systems, particularly Git, for managing and tracking code changes.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure for managing RPA deployments and integrations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Leverage RPA test automation tools (ex. Orchestrator, UiPath, MS Powerautomate) to help streamline the testing process
• Develop realistic test data to be used during testing to ensure that the robot can handle real-world scenarios and use cases.
• Collaborate with business users to ensure that the robot meets their requirements and expectations.
• Analyze results and document any bugs in Jira
• Collaborate with Dev team to address bugs
• Update testing status and results in Jira
• Design and implement automated test scripts for RPA solutions to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Perform regression testing for existing robots to validate changes, updates, and new features.
• Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to ensure test planning is aligned with the team’s development goals.
• Continuously monitor and improve testing processes to reduce defects and improve efficiency.

Compensation:

$25/hr to $32/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
