Job summary

Bow-Wave-LLC is seeking a junior QA tester to support the design and execution of functional tests for Pega applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA members to understand user stories and acceptance criteria, validate functionality, and document defects clearly.

You will maintain regression test assets, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help promote quality across the SDLC, raising risks when necessary and supporting timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Experience validating system functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong defect reporting and tracking skills with clear communication.
• Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of functional test cases for Pega applications by following established testing guidelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teammates to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Validate system functionality against documented requirements and document defects clearly, collaborating with engineering to resolve issues.
• Maintain and update regression test cases, test results, and testing checklists; participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Promote quality standards across the SDLC and review test results, highlighting risks or issues to senior QA teammates.
