Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking an Associate SQA Engineer to join the Gaming team. You will work under Lead/Senior Engineers to develop and execute test plans and ensure our gaming product meets functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional teams, learning the software lifecycle, and contributing to completion reports and project status updates. Bachelor's degree preferred; 0–2 years experience desired.

Qualifications

• Academic/working knowledge of Computer Architecture and Hardware.
• Academic/working knowledge of Operating System and Software Application Architecture.
• Academic/working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Academic/working knowledge of Object-oriented Programming languages.
• Basic academic knowledge of real-time embedded systems and Client/ Server systems.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design artifacts with Senior Engineers.
• Collaborate in test plan/test script creation for game software across platforms.
• Understand SQA methodologies and product development lifecycle.
• Follow SQA work instructions and document defects clearly.
