Fortinet’s Burn-in Test Development Department builds burn-in and QC test programs for products ready for release and NPI testing on new platform designs. The role involves QA testing, environment setup, debugging, and creating new test cases to ensure hardware, software, and firmware readiness.

Collaboration with R&D and cross-team maintenance is key. The candidate should have Linux, shell scripting, Python or scripting language experience, TCP/IP networking knowledge, database familiarity

Competenze

• Experience with Linux and shell script programming.
• Experience with programming or scripting skills (Python, VB Script, Robot Framework, etc.).
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols.
• Familiar with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiar with front-end languages and libraries (JavaScript, Vue).
• With hardworking spirit and teamwork skill, ability to multitask and quickly react to system/service issues.
• Highly motivated and responsible, quick learner and self-starter.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Mansioni

• QA test on Burn-in test program itself, ensure stability/functional tests and maintenance docs.
• Set up environment, perform debug testing, reproduce and verify with R&D teams.
• Conduct NPI QC testing on FGT model with Burn-in test program.
• Design and write new test cases and test specifications for new NPI device models.
• Support burn-in test program maintenance for various models and teams.
