Job summary

Sparksoft is hiring a QA engineer to join an Agile team performing functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing of web-based applications and services.

You will develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Postman, RestAssured, TestNG, or JUnit, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. A Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and 1–3 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–3 years of software testing or QA experience.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing and test case development.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Basic to intermediate programming or scripting in Java or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD concepts.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
• Exposure to AWS and cloud concepts is a plus.
• Ability to read, troubleshoot, and modify automation code.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing of web apps.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and suites.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design walkthroughs, and sprint ceremonies.
• Create test data, execute tests, and document results.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and product owners.
