Job summary

Veeva Systems is hiring a QA Engineer to drive quality for Nitro, an AI-native data platform in the life sciences space. This junior role focuses on hands-on testing and growing into test automation, with AI-forward testing ambitions and an evolving QA function.

The role offers growth in automation, exposure to data pipelines, and a path toward broader ownership within an innovative, flexible Work Anywhere environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to ~1-2 years QA or testing experience.
• Comfortable moving between technical detail and business context.
• Familiarity with coding with Claude or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day QA across releases: new data connectors, schema changes, customer rollouts, platform upgrades, ensuring changes are solid before they reach customers.
• Help cut down false-failure noise in the test suite and improve how efficiently it runs, so the team can trust what it’s telling them.
• Get close enough to the business logic behind our data pipelines to know not just whether a test passes, but whether it’s testing the right thing.
• Build new automations as new features roll out.
