Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and user stories to identify gaps, ambiguities, missing scenarios, and potential risks.
• Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Validate positive, negative, boundary, and end-to-end business scenarios.
• Follow shift-left testing practices by participating in requirement discussions and sprint planning.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps and results.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and team members to improve product quality.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Understand testing effort estimation and story point assignment techniques (Planning Poker, Fibonacci).
• Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage and QA productivity.
• Maintain basic exposure to automation testing and CI/CD integration.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior QA Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in Manual Testing and a basic understanding of Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong functional testing fundamentals, an Agile mindset, good analytical skills, and the ability to identify requirement gaps to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
