Job summary

Red Carrot, Inc. is looking for a Junior Public Relations Specialist in Arlington, VA to support the External Affairs office on a federal communications contract. The ideal candidate will assist in executing PR campaigns, managing speaker engagements, and outreach to media and stakeholders.

This role requires a BS/BA in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in PR campaign planning. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in PR campaign planning.
• Familiarity with client and project team collaboration.
• Ability to obtain a DHS Fitness Determination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns.
• Monitor email boxes for requests and track as per SOPs.
• Prepare Speaker Request Forms and coordinate required info.
• Conduct research for meeting and speaking requests.
• Prepare media kits, releases, and respond to inquiries.
