Job summary

Chenega MIOS in Springfield, VA seeks a Junior PSOC Administrator to monitor mission services and IT infrastructure around the clock. The role supports government operations with on-site O&S coordination and 24x7 monitoring using standard tools, including ServiceNow.

The candidate will handle incident responses, communicate resolutions, and participate in restoration meetings while meeting DoD 8140/IAT Level I and TS/SCI requirements. Strong teamwork and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years relevant experience or
• Associate’s Degree and 4+ years relevant experience or
• HS/GED Degree and 6+ years relevant experience; operational experience with ServiceNow; DoD 8140/IAT Level I (within 6 months) and TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor the status of assigned operational systems and services.
• Monitor approved tools for critical server error notifications.
• Communicate with on-site O&S support for resolutions.
• Respond to production system issues during calls and attempt initial resolution.
• Provide timely status updates to ESC personnel for briefings.
• Participate in Service Restoration meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

The Junior PSOC Administrator provide 24x7x365 monitoring services of the customer IT enabled Mission Services and operational infrastructure located in Springfield, VA

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor the status of assigned and supported operational systems and services.
• Actively monitor the approved tools for critical server error notifications
• Communicate with on-site O&S support for resolutions
• Respond to phone calls requesting production systems support and attempt to resolve the issue during the initial call.
• Provide timely status updates to ESC personnel in preparation for briefings
• Participate in Service Restoration meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years relevant experience or
• Associate’s Degree and 4+ years relevant experience or
• HS/GED Degree and 6+ years relevant experience
  • Operational experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community
• DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level I: (within 6 months of hire)
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Must successfully pass background and drug screening.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance
• Ability to night shifts (8 hour Shifts). Shift would be 2pm to 10pm EST
• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

• Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
• Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
