Job summary

IntelliGenesis seeks a Proposal/Technical Writer to support Business Development and Program Management in drafting proposals, past performances, white papers, and methodologies. You’ll maintain documentation for ISO, CMMI, and CMMC compliance while collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver narrative content and visuals.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • 3+ years of Technical Writing experience within US Federal Government/Intelligence Community.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Technical understanding of AI/ML and cybersecurity disciplines.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17024, CMMI-DEV, and CMMC compliance.
  • Understanding of DoD contract vehicles, terms and conditions, writing standards, success factors.
  • Experience in production and/or editing of technical documents for non-technical audiences.
  • Fluid technical writing and editing using AP Style or government guides.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Visio, Planner).
  • Excellent written and oral communication, risk-management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and produce persuasive content for proposals and related documents.
  • Participate in all phases of the proposal lifecycle from strategy to production.
  • Develop outlines, storyboards, and graphics for various proposal types.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to translate technical input into proposal content.
  • Identify and validate information from multiple sources to enrich content.
  • Organize and format documents to comply with requirements.
  • Participate in color team reviews and implement feedback.
  • Coordinate multiple projects while meeting timelines and compliance.

  • Provide copywriting, document design, and reviews for marketing campaigns.

Job Description

Seeking a Proposal/Technical Writer to support our team. The Proposal/Technical Writer will support the Business Development and Program Management teams in drafting proposal responses, past performances, technical white papers,and descriptions of technical and management methodologies and processes. This role alsoassistsProgram Management teams inmaintainingdocumentation for administrative, technical, and security compliancein accordance withvarious ISO, CMMI, and CMMC requirements. The Proposal/Technical Writer will work as part of both internal/external teams and independently under general guidance to develop narrative content, graphics/figures, process documentation, and knowledge management strategies in support of business development, marketing, and sales initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Write, edit,and produce persuasive content for proposals,sales documents, marketingcampaignsand other business development related projectstargeted to a wide range of audiences.
  • Participate in all phases of the proposallifecycle,including proposal strategy planning, content writing and development, internal review, and production, ensuring that all materials arecompliant,client-focused,and clearly articulate our compelling business value.
  • Developoutlines, storyboards, narrative content, win themes, and graphics/figures/tablesas needed in response to variousproposaltypes (RFPs/RFQs, RFIs, whitepaper requests, data calls, etc.) and sections/volumes(technical, management, past performance, resumes, etc.).
  • Work directly withinternal business development teams,technical project staff,and subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and translate technical input into proposal-ready content.
  • Identify,gather, andvalidaterelevant informationfrom multiplesources to enrich proposal content.
  • Organize and format documents (including layout and design) in compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Participate in color team reviews,incorporate feedback, and coordinateadditionalinformation gathering as needed toadjudicatequestions/comments.
  • Coordinate multiple, simultaneous projectswhile ensuring adherence to prescribedtimelines,content, and compliance requirements.
  • Recommend and develop a variety of technical documentation based on client needs; Standardize documentationand proposal processesby creating and implementing templates, SOPs, boilerplate content, and user guidesfor all pursuit/opportunitytypes.
  • Maintain, update, and contribute to document libraries and knowledge management systems to enable ease of document storage, retrieval, updates, and reviews.
  • Providecopywriting, document design, and reviewsin support ofmarketing and social media campaigns.
  • Trackandevaluatebusiness developmentopportunities andassistwithdefiningproposal schedules, proposal resource allocation, knowledge management,and deliverables.
Required Skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • 3+ yearsof Technical Writing experience within the US Federal Government/Intelligence Community.
  • ABachelor’sdegree inrelevantfield.
  • Must havetechnicalunderstanding of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learningand cybersecuritydisciplines.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17024, CMMI-DEV, and CMMC compliance.
  • Understanding ofcommonDoWcontract vehicles, terms and conditions,writing standards,success factors, etc.
  • Experience in production and/or editing of technical documents to include specific experience in writing for non-technical audiences.
  • Fluid technical writing and editing skills, including the use of AP Style and/or government agency-directed style guides.
  • Experienceusingthe latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) products to include MS Word, PowerPoint,Excel, Teams, SharePoint,Visio,Planneretc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication,risk-management, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation Range

$70,000 - $80,000
