Job summary

The Douglaston Companies are seeking a Project Superintendent I to lead the timely completion of our New York City projects. You will supervise subcontractors, manage safety, and ensure adherence to plans, specs, and codes through active coordination with the project team.

Ideal candidates have NYC high-rise residential experience, a NYC license, and a proven track record in complex renovations. Hybrid schedule with in-office and on-site work is available.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Project Superintendent experience.
• DOB NYC Licensed Superintendent.
• Experience with NYC high-rise residential projects and NYCHA renovations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to meet critical path deadlines.
• Perform on-site quality control and ensure compliance with plans and codes.
• Lead safety, health, and environmental quality program on site.
• Maintain daily jobsite logs and prepare progress reports.
• Review drawings and RFI/ASI processes with the project team.
